The Minister was interested in learning about the training of personnel working in the tourism sector after the creation of the Faculty of Tourism of Havana University. The training of human resources is one of the priorities of the sector, as well as the new constructive investments currently being made to increase in more than 4000 rooms the more than 67,000 rooms available to industry in Cuba. She was also interested in the possibilities of cooperation for capacity building in the Mongolian tourist industry and thanked the Ambassador for the possibility of cooperating with Cuba in a sector called to transform Mongolia's economy and become one of its main revenue streams.
The Ambassador took the opportunity to extend the invitation to the Minister to participate in the International Tourism Fair of Cuba 2017, which this year will take place in the Province of Holguin with Germany as a Guest Country. The participation of the Mongolian authorities in the tourism sector would allow to booster opportunities for cooperation with the Cuban side.
