MIAT to launch direct flights to Frankfurt

According to the national air carrier - MIAT Mongolian Airlines, non-stop flights to Frankfurt Airport (IATA: FRA), which are scheduled from 30 March, 2014, will be twice a week - each Thursday and Sunday and performed by a Boeing 767-300 newly added to its fleet. Frankfurt Airport is considered as the most convenient airport in Europe for transit flights as passengers staying in its large transit zone are not required entry visa.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines officially announced to discontinue flights to Berlin with the launch of flights to Frankfurt.

Civil aviation sector of Mongolia entered a new phase of development with the establishment of new international airline, extension of routes and gradual increase of aircraft fleet since 2011.
