air_cargo_mongoliaMongolia witnesses the birth of a new airline. The airline of such a kind is unprecedented to Mongolia as it is the first specialized air cargo company in Mongolia with routes connecting Europe and Asia.

The newly established airline called Air Cargo Mongolia will operate an Airbus A300-600F cargo aircraft mostly from cargo terminals of Beijing Capital Airport and Seoul’s Incheon International airport.

While these two cities serve as the main connection points for import goods, Mongolia mainly exports its goods to US and Europe. The A300-600F aircraft has maximum take-off weight of 170,500 kilograms and maximum range of 4,850 kilometres (2,620 nmi) when fully loaded.

The airline received its Air Cargo Operator Certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia in May 2013 and is expected to launch its operation in 2014.
